We are thrilled to announce three exclusive events for our French-Speaking Wine Club in Exeter, perfect for wine enthusiasts eager to explore the diverse regions of France.
We are incredibly honored to have Rebecca Mitchell, a certified sommelier and WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) course educator with over 27 years of experience, leading these tastings. Rebecca’s engaging and approachable style, combined with her deep expertise, will ensure an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
Joining her are Ellen McNabb and Chris Wilson, who will assist with translations and host lively French wine quizzes, adding an element of fun and friendly competition—with some surprise rewards! Our Wine Club will be hosted at Radford Community Kitchen at the Exeter Community Center, featuring a French assortment of canapés paired with wine.
Each session will highlight different regions of France, offering a rare opportunity to taste and learn about six carefully selected wines, including sparkling, white, rosé, red, and dessert wines. From the effervescent Champagne and the crisp whites of the Loire to the rich reds of Bordeaux, you’ll journey through France’s most renowned wine regions—all while speaking French!
